Niahm Dougherty, St. Joseph: The junior hit two home runs and a double in St. Joseph’s 10-0 win over Fairfield Warde. Amara Forstrom, Amity: In 24 innings pitched over four games this past week, Forstrom allowed just two runs on 15 hits while striking out 31 batters to keep Amity undefeated. Kat Gallant, Masuk: Gallant bounced back from her first career loss on opening day with two wins in 14 innings last week. She allowed

“Pucci was nearly unhittable in her two complete game wins last week. She twirled a no-hitter in an 8-1 win over Immaculate, striking out 17 and walking three. Pucci followed up with a one-hit shutout against New Canaan in which she fanned 18 and issued one walk. For the week, she held her opposition to a .023 batting average. Pucci also went 3-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored versus Harding.”

In a battle of undefeated softball teams, an Amity freshman pitcher kept her cool
