Connecticut softball top performers (Apr. 24)

Lauren Davis, St. Joseph: Davis went 6-for-10 last week with eight RBIs and four runs scored in three games. She went 4-for-4 with two doubles and four RBIs in the Cadets’ 17-7 win over New Canaan. 

Kiley Mullins, North Branford: Mullins threw a complete game shutout, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out 10 in a 4-0 win over Coginchaug. 

Ella VanAlstyne, Woodland: The sophomore went 8-for-12 at the plate with a home run, a triple, two doubles, seven RBIs and five runs scored in a 3-0 week for Woodland. She also appeared in the circle twice, going 1-0 allowing no runs on two hits while striking out 10 in 5.1 innings of work. 

Gabby Yamoah, Immaculate: Yamoah went 7-for-15 with two home runs and two doubles, driving in 12 runs while scoring six.
