LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Senior Morgan Perry (Bethany, Conn.) of the nationally-ranked Saint Anselm College softball team became the program’s first recipient of Ron Lenz National Pitcher of the Year honors from the Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association (D2CCA). DURHAM – Veteran softball coaches like Steve DeMartino of Coginchaug and Nick DeLizio of North Branford don’t rest well before their teams go head to head in the Shoreline Conference tournament. Tuesday marked the third time in as many seasons that the Blue Devils and Thunderbirds have met in this setting. In 2018, North Branford beat Coginchaug in the championship game.
