2023 WINTER BREAK BOOTCAMP

The Clinic will be held at the USA Elite Training Facility at 280 Schoolhouse Rd. Cheshire, CT from 9:30 am – 11:30 am.
Pitching Clinics will focus on teaching the players:
- How to grip and snap the fastball correctly.
- The correct arm circle and drills to strengthen and improve arm speed.
- To improve our balance and explosion in the pitching motion to improve accuracy.
- How to maximize our leg drive and hip strength to create speed.
- How to correctly sequence their body together for correct pitching mechanics
- The Radar gun will be used to check speed on the fastball.
- Incorporating strength drills into clinics that will improve a pitcher’s strength.
- Once correct Fastball mechanics are achieved the change up will be introduced.
Pricing for each session is Members*: $99 and Non-members: $129.

Pitching Clinic: The USA Elite pitching program has been producing successful pitchers for the past 29 years. This clinic will teach the players the fundamentals of pitching and catching. It is designed for the novice player wanting to learn, and for players with prior experience. Pitchers will learn the correct fundamentals of windmill pitching. The clinic will focus how to grip, correct wrist snap, the arm circle and lower body mechanics. The emphasis will be on teaching the correct lower body fundamentals to improve balance and explosion in the pitching motion in order to improve accuracy.
This clinic is designed to help prepare players for the spring season. This will be an overall skills clinic in which the fundamentals of throwing technique and footwork, fielding (including infield and outfield defensive positioning), base running, sliding and hitting will be covered. Players will learn the correct stance, sequence of hitting mechanics, and the importance of balance and rhythm during their swing.

- The Hapanowicz training program has been producing successful pitchers for over 28 years. Get your player the correct fundamentals of windmill pitching before incorrect habits are created.
- USA Elite Training offers 4 week classes for ages 8 to 14 from September to April at our indoor training center. The clinics student to instructor ratio does not exceed 1 to 6.
- How to grip and snap the fastball correctly.
- The correct arm circle and drills to strengthen and improve arm speed.
- To improve our balance and explosion in the pitching motion to improve accuracy.
- How to maximize our leg drive and hip strength to create speed.
- How to correctly sequence their body together for correct pitching mechanics

- The Rev Fire Trainer will be used to check spin rotation.
- Incorporating strength drills into clinics that will improve a pitcher’s strength.
- Once correct Fastball mechanics are achieved the change up will be introduced.
