Instructor and Clinic Coordinator
Coach Kay has been a dedicated personal client of Coach Hapanowicz since she was just 8 years old, marking the beginning of a lifelong passion for the sport. Over the past three years, she has worked part-time at USA Elite Training, serving as an Instructor and Lead Pitching Coach for summer camps. We are excited to welcome her on board full-time as a Private Instructor and Clinic Director.
A standout player for the East Coast Impact travel organization for 7 years where she played multiple positions as a pitcher and corners. She attended Central Catholic High School in Upstate New York, where she earned numerous accolades, including Team MVP and Colonial Council All-Star honors. Furthering her athletic playing career after High School, Coach Kay played at the University of St. Joseph in West Hartford. Coach Kay transitioned to coaching for the East Coast Impact travel team helping coach ages 12U thru 16U ages groups during her college career. She graduated with a multiple degrees in psychology , biology and public health .
Her passion for the game extends beyond playing; she is currently coaching at Catholic Central High School, sharing her knowledge and experience with young athletes.
In addition to her coaching credentials, Coach Kay became a USA Softball certified umpire in 2020, showcasing her comprehensive understanding of the game from multiple perspectives. At USA Elite Training, she will be coaching pitching, hitting, and fielding, inspiring the next generation of players with her expertise and enthusiasm.
