Clinic Overview


 
Pitchers & Catchers Clinic, 9 - 11 am
The pitchers will be using USA Elite Training's innovative training system created by owner Jen Hapanowicz to work on developing efficient mechanics to increase speed and balance, explosion and accuracy of pitch location.   The more experienced pitchers will work on their change-up & creating more spin and accurate movement of their breaking pitches.  The Rev Fire and Radar Gun will be used to measure spin rotation and pitch speed.

 The catchers will work on stance, receiving the ball and framing, correct throwing, blocking, pick-off plays, fielding bunts, pass balls, and drills to increase footwork speed and strength. 
 
Hitting & Fielding Clinic, 11:15 am - 1:15 pm
USA Elite's 3 day february Break Clinic includes Hitting & Fielding.  The defensive portion of the clinic will work on skills to teach the proper throwing and fielding techniques for infield and outfield. 

The offensive portion of the clinic will be taught using the USA Elite Training teaching system including:  Fundamentals of the swing, proper dynamic balance, correct hand path to the ball, maximizing bat speed, learning how to hit various pitches.  In addition, short game techniques will be taught including the sacrifice bunt and left handed slapping.

** video feedback will be provided during both the Pitching & Catching and Hitting

Cancellation Policy:    7 day notice required for refund.   No make-ups for illness.   Medical Injuries with a Doctor's note a Credit will be provided
