10 Week Training:   January 3, 10, 17, 24, 31  and February 7, 14, 28  and  March 6, 13

Times/Age Groups:
14U:  7-8 pm
16U & 18U:  8-9 pm

Requirements for class:  Participants must be Travel Ball Players / Pre-pre approved  by USA Elite Training

Lead instructor:   Kim Gwydir, USA Elite Training, LLC Hitting Director, (Kim is a former top 25 Division I College Coach at Florida International University where she amassed over 440 victories.  In addition, she guided  LIU -CW Post to a Division II NCAA regional berth. and Current Gold Coach Hurricane Travel Ball Coach) 

Class Includes:

>  3 Video Swing Analysis.  Players will view swings on their personal Virtual Softball Academy Webpage. The third video anaylsis a dvd will be provided to players.

>  Players will learn the correct sequence of hitting mechanics, and the importance of balance and rhythm during their swing.  Player will be taught how to maximize the power in their swing with correct weight transfer and hand path to the ball.  Players will work on hitting to all fields, hitting change-ups, and movement pitches.  Included in each session will be strength training to improve their swing.

>  Players will be expected to practice 2 times per week out of class in order to maximize their winter training program.

Clinic Overview

  • USA Elite Training Video Analysis Hitting Clinics are offered from September till March for ages 8 to 16 at our indoor training center. The hitting clinics utilize the Hapanowicz training model to teach the correct fundamentals of the softball swing.
  • Our hitting clinics include video analysis of each player. The clinics student to instructor ratio does not exceed 1 to 6.
